Physicochemical Properties and Appearance Determination of Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives
Pressure-sensitive adhesives, before coating and curing, are categorized into several major types based on their physical form: solvent-based, (water) emulsion-based, hot-melt, and radiation-curable types. Currently, in China's industrial production of pressure-sensitive adhesive products, the (water) emulsion type is most widely used, followed by solvent-based and hot-melt types, while the radiation-curable type is still in the research and development phase.
